Wonderful

Todays nurse just told us he saw written in Parker's chart that there were "fibrotic changes' to his heart, indicating a previous heart attack. I have a hard time understanding that when no doctor has ever mentioned anything about a previous heart attack. Will definitely be asking about that as soon as doctor gets here.

  1. The human body is complex and beautiful and still such a mystery but this that you've written here is an example of how that bull-dog in ICU (you) is completely necessary to manage a loved one's case. The knowledge you've gained in the past month is mind-boggling. I want to call the hospital and scream, "HELLO, PLEASE ALL GET TOGETHER AND DISCUSS OUT LOUD, rather than reading each other's notes and forming opinions from there." That nurse? I hope that in addition to telling you her opinion, she mentions it to a doctor. If it's a solid opinion, it should be heard, if it's a guess, her mouth should be taped so that she does not cause you unnecessary concern.
